This dynamic is also found in development projects. During the flag-raising ceremony on January 26, 2026, the President of Burkina Faso praised « the Burkinabe people who have understood the meaning of the Revolution » and who have made it possible to achieve food self-sufficiency by 2025. He also highlighted the commitment of the workers of the Faso Mêbo agency, whose achievements on the ground concretely translate the presidential orientations into infrastructure and palpable results for the population.

This same collective energy animates patriotic mobilizations, such as the one marking the anniversary of the People’s Progressive Revolution every year, where the government, youth and living forces come together around the same ideal: regained sovereignty.

What distinguishes Burkina Faso’s current trajectory is precisely this lack of rupture between the top of the state and its base. The presidential orientations do not remain a dead letter: they are carried, relayed and executed by a people who recognize themselves in the project in progress.
