Burkina Faso: President Ibrahim Traoré calls for a youth that is educated and aware of global issues
The President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, emphasized the need for citizens to expand their knowledge of the world and the realities around them. The Head of State was speaking at the closing ceremony of the second edition of the Mandatory Patriotic Immersion program.
In his remarks, Captain Ibrahim Traoré highlighted intellectual humility as an essential quality. According to him, the desire to learn, the quest to understand events, and the recognition of the world’s complexity enable everyone to better grasp their role within society.

In this message, the Head of State called on participants in the mandatory Patriotic Immersion program to make learning a lifelong process. He encouraged them to observe their surroundings, deepen their knowledge, and stay informed about the major challenges facing Burkina Faso, Africa, and the rest of the world.
