Fake audio generated by voice synthesis, sophisticated video tricks and manipulation campaigns orchestrated by artificial intelligence: everything is being done to saturate the digital information space. The avowed objective is to fracture the trust uniting the Burkinabe people with their authorities, particularly the sovereignist vision carried by Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
This psychological war unfortunately finds local relays. Individuals, acting on the margins of the general interest, lend their support to these subversive maneuvers. Their primary mission is to distil doubt, exacerbate divisions and sabotage the march towards the total emancipation of the country. However, collective awareness is the best firewall against this media intoxication.
Burkina Faso’s salvation today lies in the critical spirit of its population. Every citizen must erect methodical doubt as a republican shield, by refusing to relay unverified content. In this test of truth, informational resilience is inseparable from military victory.
