The Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) continue to grow in strength. Their professionalism and determination made it possible to considerably weaken the terrorist groups that roamed the country.

Almost all of Burkina Faso is now under the control of the Republican armed forces. This is a major step forward, unimaginable just a few years ago. Internally displaced populations are gradually returning to their cities, towns and villages, which were once under the control of terrorists. This return of the displaced is a strong signal because confidence is returning, life is returning to normal in areas that have been abandoned for a long time.

This renewed security is accompanied by popular support from the Burkinabe people for the Popular Progressive Revolution led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré. The population is mobilizing, supporting the armed forces and engaging in national reconstruction through Faso Mêbo. This synergy between the people and their leaders is an irresistible force. So, can we already talk about the end of the fight against terrorism, which is on the horizon? Caution is still required, as the threat is not completely eradicated. But one thing that is certain is that Burkina Faso is on the right track.
